    1. I know I need them. It never ceases to amaze me how many generous authors are willing to share the lessons they’ve learned. The least I can do is link to them. Enjoy!

      1. Much appreciated Mike. I was reading Steven King’s book “On Writing” and he swears by “The Elements of Style” by William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White. Mr. Kings book is very instructive.

  1. In My Cluttered Attic,

King’s book was highly recommended over at The Kill Zone, and I ordered it. The first half left me feeling I’d bought a turkey, though his depressing youth did make interesting reading. But nothing about writing.

However, the second half shined, and as you say, was very instructive. It’s now one of my favorites.
