1. He was a survivor in so many ways. My favorite Kirk Douglas film was “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.” What a legacy he left.

   1. I’ll always remember watching that movie with my 12-year-old daughter. It was the third or fourth time I’d seen it and her first. Her wonderment at the film was a joy to see.
