I find that even my “happy” tales have a dark edge. We all work things out our own way.

Well, that’s a very one-sided idea of writing. We love post-modern novels as they are mostly not written from the heart but from the head. We prefer this and so we wrote all our novels. But we love Edna O’Brien’s novels.
